The place came with a piano. Any chance I could take to get a few free pints, sing some songs, and head home with some coin from a tip jar, I’d happily indulge. As much as I enjoy playing rock ‘n’ roll to late-night revellers, there’s nothing like sitting down for two hours and reimagining other folk’s songs that I’ve come to love over the years. These songs are mainstays of what I like to call my weekend lounge act.”
