The Model Arts and Niland Gallery are proud to present Agustin Maruri, This musician knows how to combine refinement and sensitivity with a great sense of passion and drama in his interpretation of Spanish masters such as Torroba and de Falla. Agustin Maruri has given concerts in the five different continents performing in European countries and beyond, China, India, Ecuador, Australian and USA. He has performed live for RTE and has given master classes as an invited Professor at the Royal frish Academy of Music and Cork School of Music. His work in the rediscovery of Adam Falckenhagen’ 5 music has received acclaim by the Yuste European Academy, who awarded him in 1996. In 1999 Maruri began a series of recordings for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York using the original historical instruments from the Museum’s collection. His discography, (2OCD), is distributed worldwide receiving audiences and critics recognition.
