His versatility enables him to improvise raw Blues-riffs just as passionately as contemporary Jazz- or classical music. Besides working as a side-man, Quarta also performs with his Bluesband or within a Quintet. He is always eager to explore the infinite realms of sound. Some composition may feature a romantic theme by Rachmaninov before transforming into Blues, Rock, Be-bop or an italian folksong. So Alessandro Quarta renders his very own Cross-Over reaching way beyond, right into music ́s emotional matter.

Alessandro Quarta plays the violin, piano and guitar. But he is not only a musician but also a composer. His oeuvre comprises everything from classical music, Tango and Blues to Jazz, Funk, Pop and Rock.

He often works with an orchestra of 33 musicians. This orchestral unit was asked to improvise with top acts in today ́s music industry. Alessandro Quarta ́s arrangements feature breathtaking violine tokens (solo- and second violin) which have also become his compo- sitorial trade mark. During his carreer, he has joined Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown, Jamiroquai, Tom Jones, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Celine Dion, Robby Williams, Dionne Warwick, Liza Minelli, Henri Salvador, Zucchero, Andrea Bocelli, Lenny Kravitz, Joe Cocker on stage. In the classical field, A. Quarta occasionally performs with members of the distinguished Berlin Philharmonics.
