Recognizing the innate talent within his children, James Harris swiftly integrated them into the church’s music ministry, marking the genesis of the family band, initially known as the A-Boys and later rebranded as A7. With six siblings, each with names starting with ‘A,’ and the seventh member symbolizing the divine presence of God, A7 became a musical sensation. At the age of 7, Alex emerged as the lead singer, catapulting the family into a successful musical journey that saw them touring North America during school breaks.
