Alfredo Kraus is considered one of the greatest and most successful tenors of Spain in the 20th century. The singer has repeatedly demonstrated his great mastery in roles that are associated with the Italian “bel canto”. Alfredo Kraus was a true and outstanding master of this style. This new album focuses on the operas of Gaetano Donizetti and Vincenzo Bellini. They are still considered the two outstanding composers of the bel canto era. There are also arias by Giacomo Meyerbeer, Giuseppe Verdi and excerpts from the zarzulea “Doña Francisquita”, which present Alfredo Kraus as a shining hero – incomparable and impressive.
