Anders Ericson’s “Solo Pieces for Lutha” is a CD featuring music for a unique instrument from the Gustavian era (late 18th century Sweden). Ericson plays recently restored instruments built by Swedish luthier Johan Jerner, presenting an unknown musical landscape from that time. The CD includes world premiere recordings of works by Swedish composers like Cloos, Ankar, and Wikmanson.
