Recorded just one year before his death (June 1982), this superlative release is an essential purchase for all Art Pepper fans and collectors. “Art of Art” was recorded live on July 6 at the Estate Jazz Festival in Genoa, Italy, and contains five tracks, four original compositions by Pepper as well as the popular standard “Over The Rainbow” by Harold Arlen.
