Åsbjørg Ryeng is a Norwegian bandoneón-player from Trondheim. ​Ryeng has built a great career and a strong reputation with her musical interpretations, intuitive musicality and lovable stage presence.

Ryeng is a very active musician. She has been playing bandoneón for more than 20 years. Professionally for 17 years. Her musical education is from The Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo where she finished her masters degree in 2019.

Ryeng is always in her right element when playing chamber music. That’s when the magic happens! The last few years she has appeared playing as a soloist with several of the best symphony orchestras in Norway. Like Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, The Norwegian Broadcast Orchestra, and Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. As well as some of the best chamber orchestras.
