Emil and violinist Benedikte Damgaard are excited to share the news that they are recording the three sonatas for violin and piano by Edvard Grieg. The recording production is made with support from the Augustinus Foundation and Solistforeningen af 1921. The recording sessions take place during four days in January at Hjørring Gymnasium, where the Steinway D piano is kindly made available by Hjørring Musikforening. Benedikte and Emil have collaborated since 2012 and perform the Grieg sonatas on numerous occasions. Release is expected in spring 2023.
