Betamax’s rhythmic bona fides are ironclad: the drummer for ‘The Comet is Coming’ and ‘Soccer96’, as well as esoteric spin offs such as ‘Champagne Dub’ and ‘Coma World’ (also on Byrd Out).
Clive Bell is a veteran of London’s avant-garde and master of the Shakuhachi.
Raimund Wong is a tape loop warlock, wielding sounds that unsettle and sometimes please.
‘I am curious (indigo)’ sees the trio meeting at London’s Cafe Oto for a session at Robyn’s Rocket, and at Soho Radio on Wong’s own show to record these tracks.
