This will be the final album of 2024 produced by our friends at A.M.A, and what an album it is!
Imagine a blend of Miles Davis during his bebop era and Joe Zawinul, and you’ll have a faint idea of what to expect. One could even say, without much risk of exaggeration, that Wayne Shorter himself would be the first to applaud such a creation—it’s that captivating and inventive.
To me, jazz is akin to literature, at times even indistinguishable from it. As is often the case with albums produced by our friend Antonio Martino, this one is no exception. I am unfamiliar with the musicians, which makes this a completely new discovery—artists I want to commend and thank here for managing to move me amidst a flood of well-crafted albums. It’s never an easy challenge. Kudos to Milos Bosnic (Bosque Bass), Stevan Milijanovic (Keyboards), Aleksa Milijanovic (Drums), Aleksandar Radulovic (Percussion), Milena Jancuric (Flute), and Aleksandar Petkovic (Soprano Saxophone).
