He is also co-leader of several active bands, including Schemes, TOG and When I Return, and has performed with bands such as Cosmic Swing Orchestra, NYE Norske Storband and Trøndelag Big Band. Brede is a promising saxophonist with many projects in different genres, and no matter what he plays, he brings with him his powerful energy, passion and beautiful melodies.
With his new quartet, he wants to delve deep into the jazz tradition and follow the legacy of Coltrane, trying to transfer its essence to the alto saxophone, while at the same time giving it its own modern touch. With a band consisting of some of the best young jazz musicians in Norway, the group plays intense and soulful music with love, sincerity and respect for the roots of music.
