During the many demo sessions for which we were with Dan Lacksman in Brussels in 1992, we worked on our song ideas for a very long time and recorded multiple versions of our ideas. However, we never edited or published some of these ideas again afterwards. We will publish a few demos of them on the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition of “Bodega Bohemia”.The band “Camouflage”, founded in 1984 by Heiko Maile, Oliver Kreyssig and Marcus Meyn in Bietigheim-Bissingen, achieved an international surprise success in 1988 with their debut album “Voices & Images”, which was surpassed by the following album “Methods of Silence”. Even today, songs such as “The Great Commandment” and “Love Is A Shield” are among the classics of the synth-pop genre. The fourth album “Bodega Bohemia” was recorded by Heiko Maile and Marcus Meyn in the synthsound Studio of the Belgian producer and electro-pop pioneer Dan Lacksman.
