After a long wait (10 years since the beginning of the first writing sessions), Critical Point released the single “Lo Siento En Mi Piel” in late 2019 and they just launched the full self-titled album on June 19th, 2020.

Progressive rock/metal band from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Founded in 2010 (after other older projects such as “Discorddia”, “Thy Terrestrial Lie”, “Metalmorfosis” and “Gristenia” dissolved) by twin brothers and main composers Daniel Olivares (keyboard) and Tomas Olivares (guitar), together with their childhood friends: bass player Fernando Navarrete and drummer Raul Gomez, as well as with former guitarist Jean Charro.

Critical Point is heavily influenced by bands such as Dream Theater, Opeth, Andromeda, Porcupine Tree, Symphony X, Circus Maximus, Tool, Steven Wilson, a bit of the early Genesis, among others.
