“Mudd Club / Munich ’80” brings together two historic performances by the band from the spring / summer of 1980, the first of which took place at FZ’s favorite NYC nightclub – the famous Mudd Club. Presented from a high resolution transfer of the original master tape. The second recording from the Olympiahalle in Munich is the first live stereo recording of Zappa directly digitized. Mastered by Bernie Grundman, 2022. photography and memoir by George Alper, with notes by Arthur Barrow, Steve Vai, Vaultmeister Joe Travers.
