Hearing this band is like stepping into a lost world. England in the 60’s was full of musicians working on perfecting sounds gleaned from hours of listening to American Records. Bond himself isn’t remembered as a huge part of music history, but this particular line up gave birth to the rhythm section of a band which would sell more records than the bible in 1968. And that band is the Cream! Getting this glimpse into the rhythmic relationship between Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker is invaluable for the hardcore 60’s rock lover. The sound quality leaves something to be desired, particularly for bass heads, but I say buy it anyhow!!!
