Grand Slam was founded in 1984 by Phil Lynott (THIN LIZZY). The band was unfortunately only active for two years, as Phil Lynott passed away early. In a state of shock, they could not be persuaded to do anything new until Laurence awoke the band from their long slumber in 2016. Grand Slam founding member Laurence Archer and frontman Mike Dyer make it unmistakably clear that they have come a long way and that there was still unfinished business. This is now on the table with the new album “Wheel Of Fortune”. The work will be released in June 2024 via Silver Lining MusicThe story of Grand Slam is one of consistency and pure craftsmanship, and to this end, the best musical elements of Grand Slam have been revisited, fused with experience, love of music and the connections that have been made over the years.
