Markus Harm (b. 1987 in Stuttgart) studied jazz saxophone and taught from 2018-2022 as Lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg. On October 01, 2022, he was appointed to a professorship for jazz saxophone at the renowned University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).

The multi-award-winning jazz musician is a permanent band member of various formations, among them the “Rebecca Trescher Tentet”, the renowned “Sunday Night Orchestra” in Nuremberg, the Tobias Becker Bigband, the Matthias Schwengler Sextet in Cologne, the MareikeWiening Quartet, and is a regular guest musician of the SWR Big Band.

In addition, he is a sought-after sideman in the bands of Charly Antolini, Dusko Goykovich orthe Jazzfactory Orchestra Stuttgart.
