La propuesta “Tot celebrant Tete” parte de la dirección de los músicos Ignasi Terraza y Perico Sambeat, con la participación de la big band Girona Jazz Project y de la vocalista Laura Simó. Se creó para celebrar el 90 aniversario de Tete Montoliu. Una novedad que ofrece este cd es el estreno de una letra hasta ahora inédita para la composición instrumental más celebrada de Tete Montoliu, “Yo quiero que me acaricies”. Unos versos que son autoría del poeta y músico Víctor Obiols y está interpretada por una de las vocalistas más queridas por el propio pianista, la cantante Laura Simó.

The proposal “Tot celebrant Tete” is led by the musicians Ignasi Terraza and Perico Sambeat, with the participation of the big band Girona Jazz Project and the vocalist Laura Simó. It was created to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Tete Montoliu

A novelty that this CD offers is the premiere of a hitherto unpublished lyric for Tete Montoliu’s most celebrated instrumental composition, “I want you to caress me.” Some verses that are authored by the poet and musician Víctor Obiols and are performed by one of the vocalists most loved by the pianist himself, the singer Laura Simó.
