How music is made with literature, Irene Reig. I spend my life trying to imitate music with literature, looking for writing to sound and phrase and be fast and always precise. I listen Decisió i Coratge and I imagine that your album does the same thing that I’m looking for but in reverse. Using the precision of your music to say things that phrase and syncopate. Of course, music says musical things because it has its own language, but every language always ends up communicating. Then I imagine that your album tells a story that starts kindly. “Decisió i Coratge” is delicious longing; “Ginesta” is sunny morning. I decide that “Potters” squanders cool wit. Envy gives me the music that manages to communicate with emotion without intermediaries and that already begins to settle in that area of the solar plexus with “Carinhoso”. I shake my head because now the amazement of “I won’t understand”, and curiosity meanders and gets into the blue that is in my mind. I could talk about hook, about fascination. Then I take a breath, I smile, because everything burns again with irony in “Camí Romeu”. “Kirs” arrives and something slightly disturbing holds its breath. There is an urgency to say everything, even if it hurts. Here the album ends and also the things that your album told me, Irene Reig.
