In summer of 2015, several members of the legendary Cuban band Irakere stayed in Havana with Javier “Peke” Rodriguez to record an album called “Made in Havana”. From that first recording a series of musical “encounters” emerged in different cities in Europe and in Cuba that reflect the trajectory and universal character of Latin music. Since every search for himself produces a meeting, director Jaime Menéndez has taken the opportunity to show this dialogue between cultures where sounds, colors and the human part of musicians connect.
