Pianist Jelena Stojković, who comes from Prizren, comes from a musical family. It was through her family and her homeland that she got her first impulses and inspiration for a path that has become her path, namely music.

She is a laureate, both as a soloist and as a chamber music partner, of Yugoslav and international competitions and studied at the University of Music in Belgrade (Serbia), at the University of Music and Theater in Munich with Prof. Bianca Bodalia and at the Leopold Mozart Center in Augsburg with Evgenia Rubinova.In recent years she has given successful concerts as a soloist, alongside the violinist Sebastian Caspar and the vibraphonist Carlos Vera Laruccea and as a member of the Animando Piano Trio, Trios CONTRAST, piano duo Stojković/Mrktchya, the Bavarian Philharmonic and the quartet Quattro per Due (two pianos and two percussionists) with whom she released the CD ”Grenzenlos” in 2018.

Her concert activities include, among others. Appearances at festivals such as the German Cultural Weeks at the Cairo Opera House, the Summer Festival in Hohenkammer, the Orff Days in Herkulessaal, Prinzregententheater and Philharmonie in Munich, the Ludwig Festival in Füssen, the European Weeks in Passau, the Percussion Festival in Paris, Chamber Music Festival in Ankara (Turkey), Chamber Music Festival in Belgrade (Serbia), Piano City Novi Sad (Serbia), Black Forest Music Festival, High Corth Concerts in Canberra (Australia), charity concerts for the aid organization ASIA-Hilfe, ConCultures, Serbian Solidarity, as well as concerts at various concert series.

Her repertoire is cross-border and transcultural, and in addition to the large, classical works, she has a strong focus on contemporary works, which she often rehearses together with the composers, including Enjott Schneider, with whom she released the chamber music CD “Dreaming Backwards” in June 2020 and “Nur wer die Sehnsucht kennt …” (Beethoven Tribute) in January 2021. In her first solo CD “Roses of East”, which was released in 2021, Jelena Stojković embarks on a very personal journey into the landscapes of her musical homeland with works of Russian Romanticism and contemporary music.

Jelena Stojković is a piano lecturer at the University of Augsburg (Leopold Mozart Center). Since 2016 she has also been the conductor of the choir of the Serbian Orthodox Church Sveti Jovan Vladimir in Munich.
