This is the brainchild of Jonas Wall, a seasoned musician known for his work with Nils Landgren Funk Unit and Mezzoforte. After years of collaborating with some of the best, Jonas has handpicked the incredible band members of Umbaji to create a collective where creativity and innovation can truly thrive.

As with any new project, the early years come with their challenges. We’re focused on establishing ourselves in the market, building a loyal and growing audience, and earning the trust of venues that will want to invite us back. These first steps are critical for us, and we are determined to rise above the financial and logistical challenges that come with establishing a new band.
