For Juan David, a pianist must be a person trained in the integral musical academic field more than in the facet of instrumentalist; who knows analysis, harmony, counterpoint and the music itself that is part of a work, everything that is not seen, but that must be perceived in the interpretation.

To his teacher Claudio Suzin he owes the fact of being able to become a very complete musician, since at the beginning of his violin and piano classes he was very pigeonholed in the most classical music, the most traditional authors, and it made him take appreciation and knowledge of contemporary music.

With the teacher Blanca Uribe he learned a lot about the technique, about thinking about how to make a scale, a fraeso and the process of assembling a work to be projected before the public; it is a delivery of his experience.
