Kids Return celebrate the energetic sound of the 90s indie scene.

Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Forever Melodies (2022), the French indie pop duo Kids Return will deliver their second studio album via Ekleroshock on April 4, 2025. While Forever Melodies increasingly drew on indie and psychedelic pop elements from the 70s, the two childhood friends Adrien Rozé and Clément Savoye now present a return to the raw sound of the UK’s 90s indie scene with 1997.

Adrien and Clément, both born in 1997, grew up in the tense environment of the new millennium, characterized by its fantasies and disillusionments. This time was also an era of musical innovation: French Touch and Britpop shaped the sound and inspired the duo’s first recordings, which two decades later entered the music world as Kids Return.The release of their debut album Forever Melodies in 2022 launched their musical journey, which quickly took them from a live session at the legendary Motorbass studio to sold-out shows in Paris (La Maroquinerie, La Cigale). In no time at all, the duo was touring North America and performing at iconic venues such as the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. Their success even took them as far as Japan, where they took to the stage at the Summer Sonic Festival in 2023, the country’s most important music festival. They also wowed audiences at the Eurosonic Festival in Groningen and received an MME Award in 2023. They also appeared on the French TV show “Quotidien” as “Best New Music Act 2023” and had the honor of working with Saint Laurent. The album was also well received on German radio stations such as Bayern 2, SR 2 and NDR Blue.
