Mai Fukui (麻福井麻麻).Japanese female harpist. Born in 1986. He spent his childhood in Sweden and met with the harp.After graduating from the Harp Department and Chamber Music Department of the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, he received the Jury Unanimous Award and the Jury Special Award, and graduated at the top.In 2001, he won the String Instruments Division of the Junior High School Division of the Osaka International Music Competition, and received the Sponsorship Award.In 2002, he was awarded 3rd place in the Advanced Category at the Japan Harp Competition.In 2005, he became the first Japanese to win the International Harp Competition in Paris.The following year, he will hold a European concert tour to commemorate the winner.In 2007, he won the U.S. International Harp Competition.In 2012, he was awarded 3rd place at the world’s highest International Harp Competition in Israel, and also a special award for contemporary music.He performed the Harp Concerto with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in the final round.In 2011, he joined the Saito Kinen Orchestra under the direction of Seiji Ozawa.After that, he was invited to perform at the Sage Ozawa Matsumoto Festival, the World Harp Conference, the Gargiles Harp Festival in France, the Kusatsu Music Festival, the Musique Fest, the Sakuya Konohana Art Festival, and the Fukuyama International Music Festival.As a chamber musician, he performed with the violinist Gérard Poulet, Kazuki Sawa, and the celloist Leung Seien. He has performed as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Nara Philharmonic Orchestra, the Japan Century Orchestra and the Caen Orchestra of France.In 2014, he released his first album “Bijoux de la Harpe” ・ “The Jewel Box of the Harp”.”Record Art” magazine 2014 First album year 8 was selected as a special record and an excellent record record.The 2023 second album “Parfum de la Harpe” ・ “The Fragrance of the Harp” will be selected as a special edition in the 2023-5 issue of Record Art Magazine.In the past, Masayo Matsuo, Atsuko Yoshino, and S.mcdonald’s, G.lorentini, i.moretti, g.He studied under Mr. Letang.M chamber music.He studied under Morageth.From 2014 to 2015, he was a part・time lecturer at the Conservatory of Music in Amiens, France.From 2020 to 2023, he received the “Outstanding Leader Award” from the Japan Classical Music Association.In 2021, he won the “Kyoto Art Festival Award” at the 35th Kyoto Art Festival and Music Division.Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts and Kobe Jogakuin University Harp Department.He has performed in Europe, Asia and throughout Japan.
