For over two decades, Matt Johnson has been an integral force behind the globally renowned singer Jamiroquai, serving as the band’s keyboardist and co-writer on most of his material. His contributions helped shape the singer’s signature blend of acid jazz, funk and electronic sounds, earning him a reputation as one of the most innovative and respected keyboard players in the industry.

In addition to his role as a musician, Matt co-produced many of Jamiroquai’s albums, including the 2017 ‘Automaton’, which was praised for its futuristic sound and fresh take on the singer’s funkladen roots.

Beyond Jamiroquai, Matt has left his mark across a wide spectrum of the music world. As a highly sought-after songwriter and performer, he has collaborated with an impressive array of artists, including Dizzee Rascal, Duffy, Ashanti, Lizzo, Purple Disco Machine, Nolwenn Leroy, Lucky Daye and Julian Perretta.
