Oda Steinkopf is a project that originates from the Jazz line in Trondheim, where all the musicians have taken their bachelor’s degree performing jazz. In the project Steinkopf is both bassist and vocalist, write the compositions and lyrics yourself. Ho hentra inspiration from Esperanza Spalding, Braxton Cook, Daniel Ceasar and Lianna La Havas. With groovy beats sensitive chord progressions find the music’s identity in the mix between jazz, pop, soul and fusion. As a bassist and vocalist, Steinkopf wants the two instruments to work together as possible, and with the rest of the band.
