The Field Organ Project was born out of a fantasy about a special instrument: a field organ, a portable, collapsible harmonium, which was used in the 2nd World War by the US Army it was used in Europe for religious purposes. It remained after the war back in Germany and stored for decades at an old goods dealer. I bought it at auction on the Internet and brought it back into a playable Status. In the 40-minute suite, the one I played will sound An instrument in an ensemble of improvising musicians and Musicians: the singer Zvezdana Novakovic comes from Slovenia, the bassist Tin Dzaferovic from Croatia and the trumpeter Nikola Vukovic from Serbia.
