With her interest in music, language and theatre, Sterre Konijn has built up a versatile concert practice.
She sings from French chanson to Bulgarian folk music and from jazz to classical avant-garde, plays in musical theatre productions and additionally plays violin, theremin and duduk. She likes to compose, improvise, arrange, translate and collaborate with artists from all kinds of disciplines and genres. She performs in traditional concert halls such as the Concertgebouw, Carré and Paradiso, but also on a dung heap on Terschelling, in the sky above Florence and in virtual reality in the underworld.
