Following the release of their album Breakfast in America in 1979, Supertramp went on tour to support the album, and now fans get the chance to enjoy this live experience.

Live in Paris ’79, a recording of the band’s December 1979 concerts at the Pavillon de Paris, will be released on February 28. Selected performances from the concerts previously appeared on a live album released in 1980, but the new release features a complete show taken from the recordings of the two concerts at the Pavillon on December 1 and 2.

The album features Supertramp performing classics such as “The Logical Song”, “Goodbye Stranger”, “Take The Long Way Home”, “Give A Little Bit” and others.“When we look back on that time, it really was the experience of a lifetime … the best ever,” says drummer Bob Siebenberg. John Helliwell, who played saxophone and keyboards among other things, adds: “The shows in Paris were an absolute highlight for us because you could feel the reaction of the audience. You can literally hear the restlessness in the French audience. They sound a bit crazy!”
