Inspired for years by mythologies and traditional cultures, Sylvain Le Ray has built here a rich and contemplative musical universe, nourished by the aesthetics of music in the image. “Soul Dust” is an immersive experience similar to that of a movie. Each note invites the listener to plunge into a narrative atmosphere, where a story unfolds throughout an hour of music. “Soul Dust” mixes long lyrical and soaring melodies; voice and saxophone breathe a dreamlike atmosphere, double bass and drums create telluric and bubbling rhythms. A sound journey as powerful as it is mesmerizing.
