wo masterpieces. Three friends. One remarkable musical conversation. Clarinettist Gábor Varga, cellist Petr Prause and pianist Harvey Davies come together to explore the extraordinary colours and wide emotional range of two great works for clarinet, cello and piano: Ludwig van Beethoven: Trio in B-flat major, Op. 11; Johannes Brahms: Trio in A minor, Op. 114. From Beethoven’s wit, energy and inventive variations to the warmth, intimacy and autumnal depth of Brahms, this new recording captures three musicians united by friendship, mutual understanding and a genuine love of playing together.
