Today marks 40 years since the Boppers 4th LP and cassette “News” was released.
It was shot in Europafilm’s studio 1 & 3 with Erik Ohlester as technician. Producers were Dougie Lawton and Anders “Henkan” Henriksson. The band that made it was Ingmar Wallén on vocals and guitar, Matte Lagerwall vocals and guitar, Peter Jezewski vocals and bass and Ville Wallén behind the drums and vocals. Anders Henriksson-keyboards and Erik Häusler-saxophone. Half of the 12 songs were newly written originals, five of which were their own and the rest 50s and 60s hits.
