A formidable business-contact in the South offered to manage and book The Little Wretches but asked for a recording of the band in its current state. We returned to the studio and recorded our latest “hits,” songs that were killing it live, and were-recorded some of our earlier “classics.” As fate would have it, family-issues arose simultaneously for several band members, and we were unable to relocate or take advantage of our proverbial “big break.” These recordings were forgotten till discovered on an unlabeled cassette. At the time, this seemed to be the band’s “last gasp.” Many thought Dave Losi leaving the band would mark its demise, his musical presence having been so powerful.
