It is with great enthusiasm and great pride that Trio Barolo comes to present exclusively the album Traversées whose official release is set for April 18th.
Cut out for meetings, sharing and dreaming, the three musicians each carry in their origins the history of European migrations. In this third album, the Mediterranean is this time considered as the starting point of all these migrations; music is here a real “passport of the peoples of exile. »
By ear, we are immediately struck by the uniqueness of the band’s sound, due to a new orchestration and the contribution of the voice. This sound material constitutes for Philippe Euvrard’s compositions an incredible space of freedom, which he entrusts to his two virtuoso and lyrical soloists that are Rémy Poulakis and Daniel Zimmermann.
