Having chosen to refer to Ravel for the name of their ensemble, it was only natural that the French composer should appear on the program of their first recording. The musicians of the Pantoum Trio intend, however, not to be confined to a single aesthetic, but to be guided by their curiosity and explore repertoires as varied as contrasts. Thus, for their discographic debuts, they testify to multiple accents, associating their fetiche score with those of a somewhat forgotten Russian romantic and one of the new figures of Czech music.
