Vladimir Skomorokhov is a young organist and pianist, a virtuoso. He graduated from the Tchaikovsky Academic Music School at the Moscow Conservatory as a pianist (class of Yu. S. Slesarev) and organist (class of G. V. Semenova). Currently, he is studying at the Moscow Conservatory in the classes of People’s Artist of the USSR E. K. Virsaladze (piano) and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation N. N. Vedernikova (Gureeva) (organ).
Laureate and diploma winner of many international competitions, including the International Tchaikovsky Youth Competition, the M. Tariverdiev International Competition, the A. F. Gedike International Competition, the V. F. Odoevsky International Competition, the All-Russian Music Competition in the organ specialty. Winner of the grant of the President of the Russian Federation, the Hyundai Motor Scholarship as the best organist student of the Moscow Conservatory. In addition to his basic education in Moscow, he also studied at organ academies in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. He has performed as a solo organist with the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra. Tchaikovsky.
