Vulture Forest organizes in the borderland between happiness and melancholy, between serenity and unrest. This is reflected in the title track on the album, Vulture Forest-an ode to the forest, but also relates to the inescapable hectic existence of our time. The song consists of a meditative guitar melody contrasted by an aggressive accompaniment from the trumpet, drums and bass. The song Flere Lysår Væk expresses a similar desire for an inner calm but here the different instruments merge into a dreamlike, almost naive feeling. Vulture Forest strives to create deep and heartfilled music based on a trusting interaction between the musicians that allows spontaneity, playfulness, and gives each member space to express their ideas.
