40th anniversary reissue of the classic Young Fresh Fellow debut, remixed from the original 8-track tapes by Scott McCaughey. The original LP with 15 tracks is available on limited edition turquoise vinyl, the double CD has been expanded with 14 bonus tracks. on tour in 2024, including a performance at Wilco’s Solid Sound FestivalTo mark the 40th anniversary, YFF co-founder and songwriter/vocalist Scott McCaughey (R.E.M., The Minus 5, The Baseball Project) remixed the album to (re)introduce it to the world. The idea was to bring 40 years of music-making experience into the mix (turn up the bass controls) without losing the naivety and wonder that made the first success. The 15 tracks from the original album are pressed in a limited edition on opaque turquoise vinyl. The double CD includes a bonus disc – Merry Crouton’s Mr. Gulp Gulp – an extremely rare party-in-the-studio cassette from 1984 in an edition of around 200 copies.
