The Angevin guitarist has made a name for himself through a solid discography, memorable collaborations and legendary stage performances in the four corners of the world, to such an extent that he has become a benchmark in the field. His fifth album named Spicy Galaxy is there to remember his heritage and his extraordinary talent.Here, Alex Grenier intends to explore the corners of the 70s throughout these nine very groovy titles. Spicy Galaxy intends to move us as it should with this fusion between jazz and blues which has an effect on “Bouce” which opens the disc but also on the catchy “Mojo” and “Harlem” where he gratifies us with joyful guitar solos.

Alex Grenier’s talents as a composer are no longer to be discussed these days and this Spicy Galaxy is no exception. Whether on “Sund'” or even on “Double Six” and “Bee Cool”, the Angevin guitarist remains on his guard by making the distinction between well-felt improvisations and spontaneous groovy melodies which continue to hit the mark with “Bel Horizon and “French Touch”. Always so seductive and instinctive, the music of Alex Grenier never fails.
