“Laune der Natur” (The Mood of Nature) is the sixteenth studio album of the German band Die Toten Hosen. It was produced by Vincent Sorg and released as a single album as well as a Special edition – double album together with the album “Learning English Lesson Two”. The supplemental album “Learning English Lesson Two” contains only English cover versions and is not available separately.

“Laune der Natur” contains 15 German-language titles dealing with the death, loss and transience of relationships. As with the previous studio album “Ballast of the Republic”, part of the lyrics is a collaboration of Campino, the frontman of the band and the hip-hop musician Marteria. The musical title “Unter den Wolken” was presented to the album as the first single release in April 2017.
