In front of the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Pudong Art Museum, Gina Alice, who was just over 27 years old, and her husband played Brahms’ Hungarian Dance with their four hands. With four hands flexibly jumping on the black and white keys, Gina looked at Lang Lang beside him from time to time.
In 2019, after Gina Alice and Lang Lang entered the marriage hall, the identity of “Lang Lang’s wife” made her a topic for a while. In January this year, her son was born, and she gained the identity of a “mother”. But she never forgot her childhood dream-to become a pianist.
On September 10, Gina Alice’s first solo album “Wonderworld”, signed to Universal Music, was unveiled in Shanghai. In order to delight the audience, she performed some of the tracks from the album, including the first song of Schumann’s “Childhood Scenes”, “Exotic and Foreign People”, Rachmaninoff’s Prelude, and Chopin’s Nocturne. Wait. “Schumann: Dream Song” MV was released globally. Gina hopes to use music to communicate with more people.
