From recording in El Paso within eyeshot of the border during the height of the family separation crisis, to brain surgery for frontwoman Hannah Hooper, to immersing themselves in new creative spaces with producers Dave Sitek and Malay – their new album represents a re-birth and a full-circle return to their initial idealism.
American indie rock band Grouplove present their fourth studio album, Healer, follow-up to 2016’s Big Mess. This record sees the band return to their indie roots with a collection of upbeat, infectious tracks that manage to address societal problems, all in an effort to heal. The album features the lead single “Deleter.” – Liam Martin
