HORRIFIC is an old school Thrash/Death Metal band that was born in Almería, Spain, in mid-2018 when Anthony (bass), Rhandy (vocals) and Rubén (drums), after finishing a failed previous project, contacted with Richie (guitar) and they ask him to start a musical project based on Death Metal. It is worth noting the theme of the lyrics of his songs, always in Spanish, which is frequently inspired by classic horror movies, certain lurid events or the psychological imbalance of serial killers. In the tracklist of the album “Chapter 1” you can find a clear references to movies like The Shining, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Boys of the Corn or Friday the 13th, and tacitly, to serial killers like John Wayne Gacy, Richard Ramirez or Ed Gein.
