Mingus Moods is a tribute, a rendition, a vindication of the music, or rather of the spirit of the music of that hallucinating and hallucinating genius that was Charles Mingus.

Almost all the songs are composed and arranged by the double bassist Iosu Izaguirre, who is able to evoke the spirit of the most brilliant works of Charles Mingus.

The only song not written by Iosu Izaguirre is “Tiempos nuevos, tiempos salvajes”, which is an incombustible classic in the Ilegales repertoire, since its publication as the first song on their mythical first self-titled album. For that reason, he goes by his own right to the Damn Jazztards section.
