Johan Hoogewijs wrote the music around the themes of the series in question but with the aim of performing them live with orchestra, band and Toots’ harmonica. In terms of style, the music is of course often cinematic but Johan is strongly influenced by jazz and fusion, also as a pianist, so the choice to work with Toots was quickly made.
