Vegard was born and grew up in Oslo, Norway. He has been working as a professional musician, producer, songwriter and composer since 2001

Schow has a master’s degree in musicology from the University of Oslo and Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the The Grieg Academy. He has been touring several European countries and the US as a pianist and has produced and arranged CDs for many Norwegian artists in his Make Music Studio.

Schow writes music in different genres; jazz, pop, gospel, worship, children’s music and music for film, theatre and TV. He released his album BLÅTT HJERTE (Blue Heart) in 2013 with his jazztrio the Schow Trio. On this album he presents his own music, traditional hymns and others instrumental music in their cool jazz style. The Schow Trio has toured venues in and outside of Norway.

Schow´s latest project is compositions for solo piano; “FOG – Lyrical pieces for piano”. The project is with singles, sheet music and an album release Apr 24th 2020.
