With his seemingly endless ability to create compositions of seductive quality, often wrapped in a mesmerizing arrangement that pays homage to the vast sonic constructions of Phil Spector, Shadow Morton, Brian Wilson and co, veteran New York polymath Marc Jonson also deserves household name status.

Jonson, who has been making records since the mid-sixties, offers a very special insight into a secret stash of recordings he made in his tiny apartment on Cornelia St. in New York’s Greenwich Village between 1979 and 2012 – the years we’ve been living (and surviving) there.
