For Mike Tramp’s album, the singer reworked tracks from his former band WHITE LION and now presents them in a new guise. Mike explains: “For me, the period from 1983 to 1991 was a unique experience. Everything I did then, I did for the first time, and even if it was more than exciting and adventurous – when it came to an end, it was more than the end of a band, it was also the end of a special period of my life that I was experiencing. In the following 20 years, I dealt with this period of my life in small portions, but I never felt 100 percent comfortable with it. I just couldn’t force myself to imitate what I used to be. Well, in 2023, I recorded an album with WHITE LION songs that are as close to the original as possible, but still bring in small new parts that I think are right today. I’m not 26 anymore, I don’t sing like 26 anymore and I wouldn’t do the songs or myself justice if I tried to sing like that.”
